Jesmine, Office Manager
Hello my name is Jesmine and I am the clinic manager at Littleton Veterinary Clinic. I graduated from the Veterinary Assistant Program at the Community College of Denver in 2020. I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant, Fear Free Certified, and Pet First Aid & CPR Certified. Since moving to Littleton in 2016, I have worked in a variety of veterinary settings including ICU, shelter medicine, hospitals, and general practice before joining Littleton Veterinary Clinic about five years ago. I am currently advancing my leadership skills by working to obtain the NAVC Veterinary Business Leader certificate and VHMA Veterinary Practice Manager certification. I am passionate about animal care and take pride in fostering a supportive, collaborative environment for both clients and staff. I love being able to guide our team and ensure that the clinic runs smoothly so that the highest level of care can be provided to every patient. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my two small dogs and my toddler, who keep me happily busy. I am dedicated to providing the best care for your pets and look forward to getting to know you and your animal companions.
Mikaela, Veterinary Assistant
Hi! My name is Mikaela Ortiz, and I am a veterinary assistant here at Littleton Veterinary Clinic. I was born and raised in Littleton, CO. I have always dreamt about being in the veterinary field when I grew up. I remember being so fascinated when going to my family pets vet appointments and knew right away that was what I wanted to do. I am so grateful to have found a career that allows me to be around animals every day.
I have now been in this field for 2 years and have enjoyed every bit of it and am planning on going to school to become a certified technician for your babies. I have two fur babies of my own! Hazel who is my feisty Chihuahua and my sweet Coco who is a crazy little shih tzu full of love. My other interests outside of work are spending time with family and hanging out with my friends! I enjoy shopping and cooking for fun! I am so blessed to be a part of this amazing team here and meet all the different fur babies that come in! I look forward to learning more and more each day.
Rachel, Veterinary Assistant
Hi! My name is Rachel and I have been in the veterinary field since 2019. I’ve had the opportunity to work all over in veterinary medicine from small animal emergency to equine ICU, and I’m so excited to be here at Littleton Vet. I enjoy getting to watch patients grow while supporting them and their families through every stage of life. I’m actively working toward my veterinary technician license and am very passionate about continuing education and following the changes and advancement in veterinary medicine. I am a Colorado native and have two young children. In my free time I enjoy football (Who Dey!), horseback riding, video games, and pet sitting.
