Dr. Cody Petro-Sakuma was born and raised in Honolulu, HI. He attended the University of Hawai’i at Manoa where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree and a Master’s of Science Degree. He continued his education at Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. During his years as a student, he has worked at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology, the National Poultry Improvement Program (NPIP), Total Ranch Analysis of Colorado (T.R.A.C) and has also spent time in the high mountains focusing on bovine herd health. He has a particular interest in preventative medicine, soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, and critical care.
In his off-time, Dr. Petro-Sakuma enjoys spending time in the mountains, at the archery range, or cooking exquisite meals for his loved ones, and the staff at Littleton Veterinary Clinic. Aside from being a practicing veterinarian, he is also a ceramic artist, avid water-sports enthusiast, and cat-dad.
